March 1st, 2012 the Rock & Worship Road Show is coming to Boise, ID. We will be chartering a bus for those who wish to attend.
There are 38 seats available so the first 38 will be guaranteed a seat. We will take a Moffit Tour bus leaving Enterprise 1st Baptist at Noon on Thursday March 1st. We will arrive back at the starting point between 3-4am.
The cost is a minimum $10 donation to help cover the cost of the transportation along with $10 for the ticket at the door for the concert. We are also suggesting that everyone bring at least $15 for food. We will stop the bus on the way over to get dinner. (Some scholarships are available.)
People will need to call us at 541-432-0750 or contact us through the website to get their seat.
Attendees must be 13 or older to go without an adult and anyone under 18 will need to have a release for signed by at least one parent, no exceptions.
For more information, or to spread the word, check out this flyer. |

"Serving One Another" is our program where we serve others with a home-cooked meal. This Saturday we kicked it off by testing and preparing multiple batches of 3 recipes.

We had a fun, delicious time, while making meals to bless a bunch of families. If you want to help out, we could always use extra hands, and help with the groceries! |

Moving or In need a few things?
Fresh Start Furniture is meant to serve you!
We've all been there, a new place, a fresh start, but no furniture. We have items donated to us for those who need them. Supply varies from couches, beds, and other furniture to appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators. So if you're in need, let us see if we can help.
OR Perhaps you have something to get rid of that still has a lot of life left, let us find it a good home!

POC is excited to announce the direction we are headed starting January 1, 2012.
POC will not be having "Open Hours" any longer so that we can better serve in the community along with bringing more family friendly events and entertainment to POC.
We are excited because this will allow us to spend more time serving through Fresh Start Furniture/ Baby Depot and Serving 1 Another along with new ideas that we are hoping to launch as vounteer and financial support grows.
We are always willing to host your events like birthday parties, training, classes or whatever you can think of.
If you have an idea of something that you would like to be a part of at POC please contact us and lets see if we can make it go.
We look forward to continuing to serve you and the rest of the community of Wallowa County as best we are able. |

It's quite simple: by volunteers and donations.
Currently, we are in need of both. We do not get any grants or government subsidies. As a 501c3 Non-Profit organization, we need support from individuals and families like you.
If even a small portion of the area's families became a $20/month sponsor and/or gave a few hours of their time, we could certainly keep the Family Center operating long into the future.
Currently, that future is in jeopardy if the community doesn't get involved. Please help us continue serve others! |
